Walsall Wood area, news & other info.

Saturday October 16th 2010.

                                                                       On Saturday afternoon October 16th 2010, the Air Ambulance was called to Walsall Wood Football Club at Oak Park.

The reason for the attendance was to fly a Walsall Wood player to Hospital following a serious injury sustained during the game. The player injured was Torgut Bilgimer who collided with a concrete perimeter post.

The photo of Torgut was taken from the Walsall Advertiser. We all wish him a speedy recovery.

The match between the Wood and Heather St Johns, was abandoned after the accident.
